Welcome

THE WRITER

Young poet turned novelist

Dawn got a taste for writing at age 9 when she was selected from hundreds of children in her city. Her poem about conservation was published and Dawn caught the writing bug.

Fast forward...

After graduating from university and settling down with a family, Dawn decided her dream to tell her tales had not diminished. In 2010 she completed her first novel and after 4 years of rejection was published by Follow This Publishing (a company she later bought and now runs with her husband).

Projects and praise

Dawn has written books one and two in her YA paranormal trilogy, both of which have hit the Amazon best-seller list on a number of occasions.

Her second series of books is based in the world of grim reapers and snarky protagonists. Dead Normal was awarded a SIBA book award in 2017 in the horror category and has also been an Amazon best-seller in the UK and the US.

Dawn is currently finishing the final Regina book in the trilogy as well as working on the first book of her new series The Demon Blood Chronicles (coming 2019).

THE REVIEWS

...an intriguing new novel ...which blends fantasy, teen angst and gothic inspired mystery.

Emma Clayton
Telegraph and Argus

Sexy Death, a down to earth heroine, a hilarious over-the-top drag queen, and a handsy Southern Nun who sexually harasses just about everyone she comes in contact with. Top all that off with a sweetly awkward romance and several surprising plot twists, and it's perfect.

The Immortal Sorrows & The Dark Woods

A little bit Harry Potter, mixed with the Vampire Diaries.

some different and unusual takes on standard YA paranormal conventions, and a few unexpected plot twists kept things interesting.
